As CEO, LaPlante brings vision, leadership and direction to Twelve Horses' team of talented professionals, along with more than 16 years of marketing, sales, business process management, customer relationship management (CRM) and direct marketing applications development experience. David was named "Marketer of the Year" by Northern Nevada's American Marketing Association in 2004, and recently was the recipient of the Reno-Tahoe Young Professionals Network’s (RTYPN) “20 Under 40” award. The Economic Development Authority of Western Nevada (EDAWN) recognized Twelve Horses as its "2005 Business of the Year,” and most recently the Technology Business Alliance of Nevada honored Twelve Horses as the “2007 Technology Company of the Year.” Consistent with his passion, David serves as chairman of the State of Nevada's Center for Entrepreneurship & Technology (NCET), as well as on the board of the Reno-Tahoe Entrepreneur’s Organization (EO) and EDAWN. Prior to Twelve Horses, LaPlante was one of the three partners in Aztech Cyberspace, an Internet professional services company that merged with Twelve Horses in June 2002. |

As President and CTO, Steve Spencer determines the technological direction of the company, while holding all business units within Twelve Horses to their financial and strategic goals. Spencer has more than 18 years of leadership experience in the messaging and data replication industries where he has successfully built various industrial strength messaging solutions sold by such companies as Premier Global Services, MCI WorldCom, Sprint, Pitney Bowes, and Qwest; and data integration products for dotOne Corporation, MCI WorldCom, and Critical Path. He was recently featured in the Utah Business magazine’s cover story,“Forty Under 40: Utah’sRising Stars" - the sixth annual 40 Under 40 list assembles the key leaders andentrepreneurs from the state of Utah. Spencer shares his experience, dedication, and passion for technology with the Email Service Provider Coalition (ESPC), Young Entrepreneurs Organization (YEO), Utah Technology Council (UTC), as well as his new pursuit, the Utah Tech Spotlight. |

Gastanaga oversees the professional services division of Twelve Horses. He's responsible for bringing together the core components of technology, creativity and strategy for business solutions, with a growing team of experts to develop compelling digital media solutions for companies of all sizes. Gastanaga is dedicated to continuous improvement in all aspects of the business, managing the day-to-day operations and ultimately responsible for the successful completion of the company's SAS 70 audit by Ernst & Young in September 2003 (a first for an ESP). This self-initiated audit process demonstrates Twelve Horses' commitment to its customers as a reliable, transparent, secure application service provider that is focused upon minimizing risk and increasing value, maintaining service availability and preserving client privacy. Extending his expertise to the community, Martin serves on the Board of public broadcasting station, KNPB Channel 5 where he provides strategic direction and advisement on new technology for media distribution. Prior to Twelve Horses, Gastanaga co-founded Aztech Cyberspace in 1994 which merged with Twelve Horses in June 2002. |

With more than twelve years of experience in online marketing, advertising, and graphic design, T.J. is responsible for the development of strategic solutions designed to address the most complex business challenges. In addition to architecting multi-channel marketing strategies for Twelve Horses clients, he has led the development of both the Twelve Horses ticketing system and content management system. TJ offers a plethora of experience in managing and producing traditional, new and online media, and he has worked for such companies as American General Financial Group, Enron, Bowne Business Solutions and Ridgeways. Prior to joining Twelve Horses, TJ accelerated the market position of a leading textile manufacturer through branding and database marketing, and he was also a driving force at American General Financial Group, which produced Financial Annuity Sales that were second in the industry only to the Hartford Insurance Group. |

Robert’s skill sets reach across all aspects of an integrated and multi-channel communication strategy. His online marketing career started with the direction of sophisticated email and web campaigns for Mandalay Resort Group, resulting in several awards for creative execution and exceptional Return on Investment. Prior to Mandalay, Robert worked in sales, marketing, advertising and public relations for a variety of companies, including Switchback PR & Marketing, Stoel Rives LLP, Preferred Capital Corporation and Patagonia. During his tenure at Twelve Horses, he has been responsible for online marketing, brand building and global positioning of Twelve Horses, as well as destination marketing clients such as Heavenly Mountain Resort and America’s Adventure Place. Robert was an early adopter of business blogging, and his work in social media has led to numerous marketing and advertising awards including a WEBBY for one of the marketing industry’s first podcast series, Horse Power. Robert has an MBA with a specialization in Marketing from the University of Nevada and a BA from Clemson University. He is also an accomplished writer, photographer, and videographer. |

Amy’s knowledge of website services and internet trends has been closely tied to the growth of Twelve Horses as the area’s preferred online marketing resource. Her close relationships with clients help to develop appropriate solutions to meet and exceed their online strategy. |

Christine’s first encounters with html when she was 16 could be considered foreshadowing. After spending several years in illustration/animation school, Christine changed course and focused on acquiring a degree in graphic design and becoming proficient in CSS, HTML, Photoshop, Illustrator and inDesign. She spent some time working as a print designer before settling in as a Web designer at Twelve Horses, where she strives to mesh a client’s needs and vision with appealing and user-friendly design. Her desire to push the creative envelope has lead to a number of student and professional ADDY awards, as well a the opportunity to work with clients including Kiley Ranch, Homewood Mountain Resort, Bill Me Later and SouthernLINC Wireless. |
