As CEO, LaPlante brings vision, leadership and direction to Twelve Horses' team of talented professionals, along with more than 16 years of marketing, sales, business process management, customer relationship management (CRM) and direct marketing applications development experience. David was named "Marketer of the Year" by Northern Nevada's American Marketing Association in 2004, and recently was the recipient of the Reno-Tahoe Young Professionals Network’s (RTYPN) “20 Under 40” award. The Economic Development Authority of Western Nevada (EDAWN) recognized Twelve Horses as its "2005 Business of the Year,” and most recently the Technology Business Alliance of Nevada honored Twelve Horses as the “2007 Technology Company of the Year.” Consistent with his passion, David serves as chairman of the State of Nevada's Center for Entrepreneurship & Technology (NCET), as well as on the board of the Reno-Tahoe Entrepreneur’s Organization (EO) and EDAWN. Prior to Twelve Horses, LaPlante was one of the three partners in Aztech Cyberspace, an Internet professional services company that merged with Twelve Horses in June 2002. |

As President and CTO, Steve Spencer determines the technological direction of the company, while holding all business units within Twelve Horses to their financial and strategic goals. Spencer has more than 18 years of leadership experience in the messaging and data replication industries where he has successfully built various industrial strength messaging solutions sold by such companies as Premier Global Services, MCI WorldCom, Sprint, Pitney Bowes, and Qwest; and data integration products for dotOne Corporation, MCI WorldCom, and Critical Path. He was recently featured in the Utah Business magazine’s cover story,“Forty Under 40: Utah’sRising Stars" - the sixth annual 40 Under 40 list assembles the key leaders andentrepreneurs from the state of Utah. Spencer shares his experience, dedication, and passion for technology with the Email Service Provider Coalition (ESPC), Young Entrepreneurs Organization (YEO), Utah Technology Council (UTC), as well as his new pursuit, the Utah Tech Spotlight. |

Gastanaga oversees the professional services division of Twelve Horses. He's responsible for bringing together the core components of technology, creativity and strategy for business solutions, with a growing team of experts to develop compelling digital media solutions for companies of all sizes. Gastanaga is dedicated to continuous improvement in all aspects of the business, managing the day-to-day operations and ultimately responsible for the successful completion of the company's SAS 70 audit by Ernst & Young in September 2003 (a first for an ESP). This self-initiated audit process demonstrates Twelve Horses' commitment to its customers as a reliable, transparent, secure application service provider that is focused upon minimizing risk and increasing value, maintaining service availability and preserving client privacy. Extending his expertise to the community, Martin serves on the Board of public broadcasting station, KNPB Channel 5 where he provides strategic direction and advisement on new technology for media distribution. Prior to Twelve Horses, Gastanaga co-founded Aztech Cyberspace in 1994 which merged with Twelve Horses in June 2002. |
